Apple Chips & Almond Granola Bars

The only granola bar you’ll ever need to make.

 These granola bars come together quickly and taste great while containing all the healthy ingredients.
  • 2 ½ cups rice crispies/ puffed quinoa
  • 1 ¾ cup regular rolled oats
  • ¼ cup milled flax seeds/chia seeds/hemp seeds (best is to blend all three)
  • ½ cup crumbled Martin’s Cinnamon Groove Crispy Apple Chips
  • ½ cup dried unsweetened coconut
  • ½ cup toasted slivered almonds
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup of almond butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Combine the first 4 dry ingredients in a bowl.

In a saucepan, mix the honey, brown sugar and salt. Over medium-low heat, stir until the mixture comes to a complete boil for 30-60 seconds.

Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.

Pour over the dry ingredients and mix well.

Let cool for 5-10 minutes before mixing in the chocolate chips.

Press into a greased 9×13 pan and refrigerate for 4 hours before cutting into bars.
