Maple Granola

Maple Granola

Lightly sweet, crunchy and full of fibre. Break new Martin’s Apple Chips over your serving for a special taste of local bounties.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 2 cups Wheaties or Bran Flakes
  • 1 1/2 cup coarsely chopped almonds
  • 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
  • 2 cups flaked coconut
  • 3 tablespoons wheat germ
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds or pumpkin seeds
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup honey
Directions
  • In a large bowl, combine first seven ingredients
  • Melt butter, maple syrup, and honey together; pour over oat mixture and stir until well coated
  • Pour into a well-greased roaster or cookie sheet
  • Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes
  • Cool; crumble into pieces
