Mushroom Chops

Ingredients
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1–2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 6–8 pork chops
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup chopped red pepper
  • ½ cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
  • In a large resealable bag; combine the first four ingredients. Add pork chops, one at a time; toss to coat. Set remaining flour mixture aside.
  • In a large skillet, sauté chops until golden; transfer to a greased 13″x 9″ baking dish. In same skillet, sauté onions, peppers and mushrooms, adding more butter if needed.
  • Stir in reserved flour mixture; gradually add milk.
  • Bring to boil; cook and stir until it thickens. Remove from heat; add lemon juice. Pour over chops.
  • Cover and bake at 350℉ for 50 – 60 minutes until tender. Serve with mashed potatoes.
