This dish is a great addition to a brunch, and very convenient because you can make it ahead of time. The fresh fruit topping makes it extra tasty, and very attractive to serve!

Ingredients
1 loaf French bread (18–inches long)
4 eggs
1 cup milk
¼ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
18 oz. container spreadable plain or fruit–flavoured cream cheese
Topping
3 cups fresh strawberries
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons amaretto (optional)
1 cup fresh blueberries or raspberries
Directions
Cut loaf into 24 ¾ inch slices.
Spread bread with cream cheese, and put together like sandwiches.
Place in greased 9″x 13″ pan.
Beat eggs. Add milk, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Pour egg mixture over sandwiches in baking dish.
Let stand at room temperature for 5 minutes.
Turn sandwiches over. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Heat oven to 400℉.
Uncover baking dish. Drizzle sandwiches with melted butter.
Bake until golden brown, 25—30 minutes.
Slice remaining strawberries and add blue/raspberries and strawberries to strawberry mixture. Spoon over top of baked toast before serving.
