1 c. Sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1 c. water
3 T. strawberry jello powder
1 qt. stemmed strawberries, sliced
1 deep dish pie shell (9”) pricked and baked
1 c. whipped cream
Mix sugar, cornstarch and water in large saucepan.
Stir constantly, cooking over medium heat until thickened.
Remove from heat, stir in jello powder until dissolved.
Pour over sliced strawberries, mix gently.
Pour into cooled pie shell; refrigerate until set(about 4 hours)
Top with whipped cream to serve.
